How to create a BingX account for beginners

BingXAccount guide · 3 min read

BingX is a global exchange known for spot, copy trading, and derivatives. This guide focuses on beginners: safe signup on the official site, identity verification (ID + selfie), 2FA, then deposit — and why to start with spot before copy trading or leverage. Type the official domain manually (typically bingx.com) and download the app only from official stores.

Disclaimer: account creation education only. Crypto, copy trading, and especially leveraged products carry high risk. Service availability per country may change — read notices in your BingX account.

1. Practical requirements

  • Age per BingX rules (often 18+ in many jurisdictions — follow what is shown at signup).
  • Valid email or phone number.
  • Government ID (KTP, passport, or national ID) for identity verification.
  • Phone with camera for ID upload and selfie verification.

2. Step-by-step registration

  1. Open official BingX → click Sign Up or Register.
  2. Choose email or phone, create a strong password.
  3. Enter verification OTP.
  4. Complete captcha / initial security steps.
  5. Log in → go directly to the account security center.
Avoid mirror/phishing sites: check domain spelling (bingx.com only). Never enter a seed phrase — exchanges do not use seeds like self-custody wallets.

3. Enable 2FA before depositing

  1. Account → Security → Google Authenticator (or available 2FA option).
  2. Scan QR, save backup key offline.
  3. Confirm with 6-digit code + password.
  4. Optional: enable email alerts and anti-phishing code.

4. Identity Verification (ID + selfie)

BingX requires identity verification before full access to deposits, withdrawals, and trading limits.

  1. Click profile icon → Identity Verification or KYC.
  2. Select country/region matching your ID.
  3. Choose document type: KTP, passport, or national ID.
  4. Upload clear ID photos (front; back if requested) — no glare, all corners visible.
  5. Complete selfie verification: hold phone at eye level, follow on-screen prompts.
  6. Submit and wait for review (often 1–24 hours; longer when busy).
Form name must match your ID exactly. Avoid abbreviations. If rejected, read the reason in the app and retake photos.

5. Safe deposit

  1. Assets → Deposit (or Wallet → Deposit).
  2. Choose coin (e.g. USDT) and a network you understand.
  3. Copy BingX deposit address; double-check every character.
  4. Send a small test transfer from another wallet/exchange.
  5. After on-chain confirmation and balance arrives, increase amount.

For fiat/P2P: only trade with reputable merchants, understand escrow, do not move chat off-platform during payment.

6. Trading: safe order for beginners

  • Start with Spot → understand order book, fees, and how to place a limit or market order.
  • Do not start with copy trading — you are copying someone else’s risk without understanding their strategy.
  • Postpone leverage / futures until you understand margin, liquidation, and funding rates.
  • Do not share API keys with withdraw permission.
  • Set a plan: how much risk capital, not “get rich this week.”

7. Checklist

  • ✅ Official URL/app (bingx.com)
  • ✅ Signup OTP completed
  • ✅ 2FA + backup key saved offline
  • ✅ Identity verification approved (ID + selfie)
  • ✅ Test deposit on correct network
  • ✅ Started with Spot (not copy trade or leverage)

8. Common issues

  • Selfie failed: remove hats/glasses if possible; use front lighting; face fully in frame.
  • Blurry ID photo: turn off direct flash; shoot in daylight; all corners visible.
  • Copy trade losses: pause and learn spot basics first — past trader performance does not guarantee future results.
  • Cannot withdraw: check KYC status, 2FA, and any security freeze after device change.
